A series introduction is different from sampling the newest release

A plot recap can communicate the order of events. It cannot necessarily reproduce the time spent getting to know a place or caring about a character. That is why starting with the earlier game makes sense for a reader looking primarily for a story, rather than simply the latest combat system.

If all you want is to sample combat, your decision may differ. The spoiler cost remains. Anyone who might play the first game later should consider its official demo before watching detailed sequel summaries or character explainers.

Find the save route for your own platform

CLE’s Korean instructions require an updated full game. They name Load Game for PS5 and Steam, and Transfer for Nintendo Switch, with matching console-account conditions. These are published instructions, not a procedure we tested in the game.

Transferring a demo into the full game on its supported platform is not the same promise as moving saves across different consoles. These instructions also do not establish a separate Switch 2 migration procedure. English-edition owners should check their publisher’s instructions before assuming regional procedures are identical.

Read the PS5 trophy caveat without enlarging it

CLE’s Korean demo page warns about trophy acquisition when a PS5 demo save is linked. If trophies matter to you, check the current notice for your edition before importing. The notice deserves attention rather than being buried underneath the trailer.

It does not, by itself, establish which individual trophies are affected, that a platinum trophy is permanently impossible, or that starting again fixes every case. We have not tested those outcomes. An alarming interpretation is not more useful than an accurately bounded warning.

The demo is a decision aid, not homework

The publisher describes roughly ten hours spanning the prologue and first chapter. Treat that as a guide to scope, not a measured completion time for every player. You do not need to exhaust the available content to earn the right to make a purchase decision.

After a session, separate two questions: do you want to read the next conversation, and do you want to return to exploration after combat? Those answers can diverge. The useful judgment is whether this is a game you will keep opening in your own week, not whether a general recommendation sounds enthusiastic.

The optional official promotional video below can help with atmosphere and presentation, but it can also expose sequel material. Finish the first story before watching if spoilers matter to you. A trailer does not establish sustained performance or your eventual playtime.
